Previous to entering Eastern Medicine, Jennifer completed her Pre-Med curriculum at the University of Stony Brook and graduated with bachelor degrees in Biology and Medical Technology. She had worked as a clinical Microbiologist at St. Francis Hospital and as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at the Pall Corporation in Port Washington, NY. She has also served as a clinical supervisor/teaching staff at the New York College of Holistic Professions in Syosset, NY.
Jennifer's perception of health is well balanced with her background in both Eastern and Western medicine. In the past years, Jennifer has treated a wide range of ailments. Her approach is preventative, holistic, and individualized. She encourages the community to take part in routinely using Traditional Chinese Medicine for health and wellness.
Acupuncture treatment or therapy often consists of a combination of acupuncture, acupressure, auricular acupuncture, cupping, Gua Sha, moxibustion, electro-stim, massage, meditation, Eastern nutrition, the use of essential oils, etc. Other than providing acupuncture therapy, the importance of patient education and patient-practitioner collaboration or teamwork is emphasized to reach the mutual goal of achieving optimal health and well-being independently for everyday living.
